We believe that by developing and promoting highly qualified people of diverse backgrounds into executive healthcare leadership, we give a voice to underrepresented communities in the meetings, discussions, and decisions that have large scale and lasting effects on their health and health outcomes.

The WLD Foundation operationalizes this vision by pairing aspiring healthcare leaders from underrepresented backgrounds with mentors in healthcare organizations that align with their career aspirations. Through mentoring and professional development opportunities, the mentees of the WLD Foundation have the opportunity to develop knowledge, skills, and tools essential to becoming successful future influential healthcare leaders.
