Program Overview

The Watson Leadership Development Foundation (WLD Foundation) is a non-for-profit
foundation founded by Kerry Watson to develop programs and initiatives that support underrepresented minorities interested in pursuing successful careers in healthcare leadership.

Once selected for the program, we pair those mentees with mentors in leadership positions
at various healthcare organizations. During the course of the program, the mentor will have regular scheduled check-ins with the mentee to provide guidance through professional issues and decisions and sponsorship.

The Foundation will also host professional workshops including:

Resume reviews
Networking forums
Mock interviews
Panels on navigating the healthcare industry as a minority
Introductions to potential employers that will help the mentees build their careers.
